The project has been approved by the FCT-Universal Basic Education Board (FCT-UBEB). The aim is to reactivate Environmental Clubs in 20 schools in FCT Abuja, with minimum of 1,000 students, while our overall target is 10,000 students across 200 schools nationwide within 24 months.
The initiative will promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices by equipping students to become environmental ambassadors and foster partnerships among schools, government, private sectors, NGOs, CBOs and Multinationals. The project activities will include – workshops, advocacy, clean-up drives, tree-planting, recycling, and inter-school sustainability competitions.
The methodology is to integrate environmental policy with education and youth leadership. Our Theory of Change is clear: empowering youthful minds with environmental knowledge and tools to foster grassroots resilience and adaptation for climate action and environmental sustainability.
By supporting this initiative your organisation will not only support environmental protection education for students but also leave a powerful legacy for Nigeria’s environmental health and prosperity. We welcome your support and partnership in building this legacy and empowering a generation of sustainable leaders.
Together, we can make a lasting impact!
The only way evil or wrong practices will continue to thrive is for us to stay and do nothing.
